Industrialisation and technical progress have brought many benefits to humankind. But there are undoubtedly disadvantages too. After all, the increase in noise pollution caused by industrial processes has an adverse effect on our health and performance, and also reduces the quality of our environment. Efficient soundproofing is therefore more important than ever.

WE WERE SUSTAINABLE EVEN BEFORE SUSTAINABILITY BECAME A KEY TOPIC.
Our name, IFU, is a German abbreviation and translates as "Industrial supplies for environmental protection". In line with this, we don't make any compromises when it comes to sustainability. Quite the opposite. We were one of the first companies in Germany to create the position of an Environmental Protection Consultant back in 1996. Because one of our most important goals is to keep reducing the CO2 emissions of our production facilities.
Of course, we only manufacture in Germany. On the one hand, to keep transport distances as short as possible. And on the other, because it's easier for us to ensure good quality in our immediate vicinity. We believe that sustainability starts with quality – the longer our products last, the better it is for future generations and the environment.
